On behalf of myself and our board of directors I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Love INC of Otero County. We are excited about how God is working in and through this ministry as we continually strive to meet the needs of those less fortunate in our community. Check out our GAP ministries where you will find out about some of the services we offer. These ministries were designed specifically to fill in the gaps in assistance in our community. We pray that as you browse our website that you will develop a greater understanding of how we are accomplishing the mission of Love INC by reaching out to the poor and needy In the Name of Christ!There is a quote by author Anne Isabella Ritchie from the 18th century which says… “if you give a man a fish you can feed him for a day, if you teach a man to fish you can feed him for life.” That is the premise behind what this community garden is all about.
We want to take people from a place of dependence to independence. The added benefits that will come from this endeavor are…

It is our desire to create a place that is available to our entire community.
In order to keep extended hours of operation, we need your help. We would love to have your knowledge and expertise to mentor our families. In addition, we need individuals willing to oversee the garden for just a few hours a week. If your heart is to serve then why not spend a few hours each week working with us to do things such as garden maintenance, plot preparation and advising where needed. There will always be a place for you.
