On behalf of myself and our board of directors I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Love INC of Otero County. We are excited about how God is working in and through this ministry as we continually strive to meet the needs of those less fortunate in our community. Check out our GAP ministries where you will find out about some of the services we offer. These ministries were designed specifically to fill in the gaps in assistance in our community. We pray that as you browse our website that you will develop a greater understanding of how we are accomplishing the mission of Love INC by reaching out to the poor and needy In the Name of Christ!Love INC takes no government funds and relies strictly on the generosity of our churches, business’s, civic organizations and individual community members to help fund this ministry. We are a fully tax deductible 501 (c)(3) organization. All our board meetings are open to the public (please call ahead for dates and times) and all financial information is available to our donors.
Our Faithful 500 program is an affordable way for you to support the work of this ministry.We are seeking at least 500 individuals and/or families that would commit to giving at least $10.00 a month to the work of this ministry. Together we can make a difference and possibly even transform a life “In the Name of Christ.”
What will $10.00 a month do?
- Supply a child with a food backpack for 2 weekends
- Feed an entire family of 4 breakfast, lunch and dinner for 1 day
- Provide curriculum for 10 students to attend our Affirming Potential Class
- 10 rides on the Z-Trans
- Provide one person a much needed State ID Card so they can obtain employment
- Pay a membership for the Senior Center (includes transportation, meals and more)
Fundraisers – If you are a member of a civic organization or a business owner or employee and are planning your fundraising activities for the year then perhaps you would consider Love INC as a beneficiary of those funds.
GAP Ministry donations – We are always in need of donations in our GAP ministries. We are especially in need of donations of furniture items such as beds, dressers, sofas and tables and chairs. Our ministry team is available 5 days a week for pick-ups and deliveries so give us a call.
